to start a new project

We know you are busy and have too many other problems
to solve on a daily basis, so we have developed a very simple procedure to get your paper drawings converted. It involves
only a few easy steps, and before you know it, you will have your
digital drawings back, ready for use. These steps are:
Step 1:
Call us to talk about your project

A simple phone call or email gets things started.

and tell us about your project,
your drawings and your schedule. It is easy, because there is no high-tech
needed here. We will discuss your options openly and plainly, and most
importantly, we will advise you of the best possible solution to your current
needs (even if it is something we can’t do).

We have the technology needed to successfully complete
your project, and we will be delighted to put it to good use on your
project. We will suggest which goals
can be accomplished and which can’t, taking into consideration your time frame
and current budget limitations.
Step 2: Let
us review your source materials

Next, our technical staff will inspect and evaluate
your paper drawings. Shipping them to us is the most common alternative, either
via courier, overnight delivery, or simply through the U.S. mail. Of course,
depending on the quantity and availability of your originals, a small “typical”
sample may be all that is needed for our evaluation. In fact, quite often we
can estimate the true and accurate cost of a conversion project by reviewing faxed copies of selected letter-size portions of some of your
large format drawings. All we need to know is the quantity and the sizes of the
original documents. The rest we can obtain from the faxes.
Another alternative is to have your originals scanned
locally by a reprographics company and then email the resulting TIFF or JPG
files for our review. This way, there is no need to ship anything, expediting
the entire process and at the same time, eliminating the shipping cost.
Step 3: Authorize
us to proceed

Next, we will prepare a written cost estimate describing the scope of the work, the quantities and types of conversion
to be performed, the unit cost per item and the total extended cost. We will fax or email this document to you, for your review.
When you decide that our proposal meets your needs
and budget, simply sign it and fax it back. We will start work as soon as we
have your drawings, or immediately, if you sent them to us either the originals
or the locally scanned images, or if we scanned them on site. Then, we will not
stop until we deliver it back to you – finished. That is it! – you are
done. Now, wait until the next morning…
Step 4: Begin
designing your project

We will send your finished digital files
electronically via email or ftp transfer, or on CD-ROM
shipped directly to your desk. If your project involves just a handful of
drawings, chances are you will have them the next morning. If you have a
substantial number of documents, we typically send daily batches via email as
they are completed. Of course, you may request that we hold all deliveries
until completion and then send you a single group of files.
