Which format is right for you?

We put
an end to the paperwork, in any format
We
handle large-format documents (sizes "A" through "J") in
B&W, gray scale and 24-bit color, aperture cards, 35mm slides and
negatives, and other types of documents. We will capture your originals
to any raster file format such as, TIFF,
JPG, PDF, etc. Most
importantly, we will convert your data to many specific software programs
including AutoCAD, Microstation and Arc/Info
among many others. Converted documents may be stored and delivered on
electronic media such as CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or retrieved electronically via email
or FTP transfer. The vast amount of
paper stored in your drawing archives will become available for you to use on a
daily basis, without traditional storage and retrieval problems and
costs. Besides, conversion from paper to electronic media enables easy
sharing of information over an Intranet and the Internet. We can deliver your
data in raster or in vector format.
Raster
images:
RASTER FILES are non-intelligent, pixel-based files that capture
the original paper document as black & white, gray scale, or color dots
(pixels). These raster arrays may be modified with raster editors or
"paint" programs, used as a backdrop for CAD, FM and GIS files,
inserted into desktop publishing documents, indexed with database records, or
simply printed to raster output devices such as laser, electrostatic, thermal and
ink-jet printers and plotters.

Vector
CAD files:
VECTOR FILES are intelligent, object-based files that recreate
the original paper document data in the form of lines, arcs, circles, points, polygons,
text, and complex group objects. These files are suitable for editing with CAD
and GIS software that allows the user to stretch, offset or copy each
individual object without affecting the others. Objects are usually separated
into discrete layers, colors and complex groupings. Vector files may be output
to either raster devices such as laser, electrostatic or ink-jet plotters, or
vector devices such as pen plotters. Vector files store information in
"real-life" units, rather than "paper-size" dimensions.
